What Is a screw chiller?
Screw chiller is a chiller with screw compressor and has more cooling power than the scroll chiller.Air cooled screw chillers are typically available in 40 to 400 tons, higher efficiency and reliability compared to scroll compressor.It's used in both water and air chillers and are best for small to medium cooling loads.
Basically,scroll compressor is suitable for chillers under 60 tons( base on cold water supply in a range of 5-30 ℃). If the cooling capacity is more then 40 tons, then suggest a screw compressor.We will also recommend suitable models according to your needs.
